Welcome to the homepage of the Anglo-German Association of Braunschweig.

Thank you for being interested in our club. On this website you can find out more about who we are, what kind of meetings we offer and how to become a member

How it all began and our aims:

The Anglo-German Association was founded in 1971 in order to promote understanding between Germany and England and to promote the town twinning with the English town Bath. We support and complement the activities of the city of Braunschweig regarding the twinning. You can find out more about the history of the DEG in our section Timeline.

When and where do we meet:

We meet every fortnight on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. (not during the school holidays) in ambet, Betreutes Wohnen, Ilmenaustraße 2, 38120 Braunschweig-Weststadt, where various events take place in English language. See here how to find us.

 Which meetings do we offer:

You can find a survey about the meetings and the dates under Newsletter. Further information on the DEG as well as important announcements can be found under News. Our new Blog section at the bottom of this page keeps you up-dated additionally.  Our calendar of events shows all of the upcoming events at one glance.
